Simon Dinh Architects believes that every home or building has the potential to be beautiful - no matter the budget. Our designs are centred around the people who will inhabit them—creating environments that are not only visually inspiring but also tailored to the way life is truly enjoyed. We focus on thoughtful, functional design that brings joy, comfort, and meaning to everyday experiences, ensuring that every project feels personal and lasting.

OUR SERVICES:

We offer flexible services tailored to your needs, whether you’re looking for full support, or assistance with specific elements. We can guide you through a concept to completion process, or if you already have a clear vision and mood in mind we’ll help bring it to life with a fully developed, safe, and code-compliant design. • Feasibility & Briefing. Determining your requirements and establishing the high level aspirations.

• Concept Design. We resolve all your needs from the Brief and present a design, which is a result of a collaborative process with client input.

• Design Development. We input advice from structural engineers and other consultants & flesh out the interior design.

• Town Planning / Development Approval. If required, we prepare architectural drawings for council approval.

• Construction Documentation / Building Permits. We prepare fully dimensioned drawings and specifications, that will enable a builder to price & build your project.

• Tender. We manage the Tendering process including contacting potential builders & responding to any queries.

• Contract Administration. You enter into a contract with the builder. During construction, we ensure works are completed in line with the contract documentation and verify that payment claims from the builder are valid.

OUR EXPERIENCE:

Our director Simon Dinh has lived and worked in many internationally recognised architecture offices worldwide, including Kohn Pedersen Fox in London, Branch Studio Architects in Melbourne and Pritzker Prize winner Shigeru Ban Architects in Tokyo. He completed his architectural education between TU Delft in The Netherlands and The University of Melbourne. With a keen fascination for architectural details and their role in shaping a city’s unique character, Simon brings this insight into his own work, skillfully weaving together elements like texture, form, and light to craft spaces that come together to elevate the whole beyond its individual parts. Simon has successfully completed many award winning architectural schemes over a variety of scales - including Regenerative Masterplans, Skyscrapers (55+ floors), Museums, Performing Arts Centres, School Buildings and off-grid rural studio retreats.
